Brazil Travel Insurance

There are so many wonderful things to do in Brazil. Many visitors travel to Rio de Janerio to see its many attractions, such as Christ the Redeemer and the Municipal Theatre. São Paulo also has a beautiful botanical garden and an exciting art scene. You could go on a cruise along the Amazon River or take time out on the famous Copacabana beach. Keep an eye out for the samba dancers and sensational parades at the annual Carnival of Brazil.

You’ll probably be doing a lot of travelling, so make sure you take out travel insurance in case you lose something or require medical assistance. Unlike most of South America, the main language in Brazil is Portuguese, so you might want to brush up on the lingo. Avoid going to the favelas (shantytowns) on your own and opt for a guided tour instead.

It’s good practice to check for the latest updates from the FCO before travelling to any country. Please be aware that we can’t cover you for countries that the FCO advise against travelling to.
