The Angolan cuisine is varied and tasty, with local dishes based mainly on fish, cassava products and spicy stews. You can even opt for the delectable Angolan seafood which includes fresh lobster right off the fisherman's boat. A must try is the funge dish which is a common dish. It is mostly accompanied either by a veg or non veg dish. Funge de bombo is also another popular dish. Moamba de galinha is chicken based dish that is often served with rice and funge. The other dishes that are a must have include arroz, cabidela and caldeirada de cabrito. For the beverages you can opt for the capatica, caporoto, or even the cazi. Palm wine is also a popular beverage here. For non-alcoholic drinkers, you must try the kussangua or any of the fresh fruit juices.
