When it comes to the cuisines of Tuvalu, you will find the staple of coconut and fish are most commonly used apart from rice. Do try the pulaka and taro based meals which is normally served along with seafood especially coconut crab. Pork based cuisines are normally served during special functions, with an incredible flavour and taste. Food lovers who crave a gastronome adventure must try the seabird based meals, served with the pulaka aklong with coconut cream. When it comes to the beverages, you can find plenty of coconut water to drink here.
