St. Vincent and the Grenadines; what comes to your mind when you hear this name evokes a vision of exotic and tranquil island life. With a combination of a rich environment and the Caribbean flavour, there is a large variety of mouthwatering cuisines that are a definite must try. The callaloo soup and the doucana are two delectable and popular cuisines which are favoured by the locals as well as outsiders. Along with this, you can also try the doughboy and roast breadfruit and saltfish. To satisfy your sweet tooth, you must try the arrowroot cakes or the delicious meringue pie. Don’t forget to wash down this meal with a locally brewed beer, rum or even any of the fresh fruit juices here.
There are plenty of activities to indulge in here, especially since they come in a different variety making it perfect for those with a diverse taste. You can visit the different attractions here or even go hiking on the beautiful trails or volcanic sides here. Experience the wonderful carnival activities if you are lucky enough to visit it during that time of the year.
