Not so long ago it was rare for elder people to venture far. These days’ people of all ages are travelling the world and are hale and hearty enough to visit far and wide places with confidence. People in their 80s are travelling long term to far flung places. Elderly people are cruising, walking, hiking and white water rafting around the world without care. All protected by good quality travel insurance. Despite the surge in elderly people travelling, many insurance providers place strict restrictions on who they will and will not cover. Some exclude over 65s altogether. Our travel insurance is different.  

OAP Travel Insurance – Generous protection for older travellers

Our annual multi-trip OAP travel insurance protects older people aged up to the age of 85, with the duration depending on your age. If you buy long stay cover, which protects you for extended periods away from the UK, we will cover you up to aged 75. If you are aged 66 – 75 our long stay cover protects you for 18 months in Europe. For travelling worldwide excluding USA, Canada and the Caribbean we cover you for 9 months if you're aged 66 – 70, 6 months if you're aged between 71 and 75. If you are 66 – 70 and want to include Canada, the USA and the Caribbean we will cover you for 6 months, 4 months if you are aged 71 and 75.
